Kelly 🌟

Very sad to hear of the passing of Howard Wright. Had the pleasure of getting to know him managing Warwick Races. He had everything a journalist should have, great nose for a story, hard but always fair. Edward Gillespie thought the world of him which is a pretty good reference

Delighted with What Path’s close 3rd in the ultra competitive beginners chase @Galway_Races he jumped super on his first start for us under a terrific ride from @dan2231 he’s a lovely horse for the future and has options in France, Ireland, UK & USA!

Delighted to welcome recent @thorough_bid sale topper What Path. He’s an exciting addition to our growing team. He will head to Galway before embarking on a French campaign.

The fact that Brighton is allowed to host a card with total prize money of £34k in 2024 defies belief. Any owner or trainer that supports fixtures such as these is doing racing a grave disservice

The wonderful 13yo McGroarty after finishing 3rd at his beloved ⁦@hippoclairefont⁩ last night. This was his 19th start in France and he took his earnings to €130k, he’ll be back for the Grande Course on 25/7 to try and defend his crown🥰🇫🇷🥉

Terrific effort from little Bojak to finish 2nd in the €95k Grande Course De Haies de Dieppe. Having won €21k today he has taken his earnings to France to over €45k in 5 starts, he may be small but has the heart of a lion. Well done to ⁦@brhals⁩ 🥈🇫🇷

Very proud day for the Leech family with our son Ed graduating with a 2:1 in theology at Durham University #proudparentsandsister

Delighted to get a winner with San Guido in the €40k 4yo conditions hurdle at beautiful Clairefontaine. Fantastic ride from cravache d’or leader Clément Lefebvre and thrilled for his owners ⁦@stevesrutland⁩ and Ryder with their first winner in 🇫🇷sold by ⁦@brhals⁩ 🏆

Bojak runs at Auteuil in the 4.28pm €110k handicap hurdle for ⁦@brhals⁩, a repeat of his 4th last time in listed company will see him go close. As ⁦@rolandgarros⁩ is 1km from the track it would have been churlish to pass up a visit to the Philippe Chatrier court 🇫🇷🎾

A very good 2nd place for San Guido at Nancy in the 4yo hurdle on just his second start in France for owners ⁦@stevesrutland⁩ and Ryder Sugden. Jumped great under man of the moment Clément Lefebvre, he’s sure to progress in France and provide a lot of fun 🥈🇫🇷

Rare Middleton (facing camera) and Vis Dolorosa might only have met yesterday but they are already pretty firm friends @leech_roisin daschund Tyson makes a cameo appearance!

Delighted that @adrianheskin is going out on his own terms. We had some great days together, not least with our beloved Anteros on whom he won three times. A brilliant jockey and an even better human being, all our love and best wishes to him and Danielle for a great future

After a wretched winter, the horses finally able to enjoy some sun on their backs. Stable star Madara the attention seeker joined by stable legends, Lucky One, Garo De Juilley and @leech_roisin’s first winner 16yo Appledandpierres. Also her first pony Kemuri & some young stock

Giacosa couldn’t quite replicate Lucky One’s win last year in France’s most valuable hcap hurdle but we are very proud of his gutsy 🥉under a terrific ride by Clement. He won €23k today, he’ll enjoy a holiday now & he’s a lovely horse for the future, well done ⁦⁦@brhals⁩

Giacosa & San Guido at Auteuil ready for their assignments tomorrow. They race for combined purses of €348,000. We were lucky enough to win the Printemps last year so 🤞 Giacosa can repeat the dose. San Guido in 4yo GII, he has a UK rating of 129 so hopefully won’t be far away

Very good 4th for Bojak in the €88k listed hurdle at Compiegne today under Clement Lefebvre. His first run in this grade, he’s an exciting young 5yo. Inspired claim by ⁦@brhals⁩ after winning a 7f claimer at Strasbourg!

⁦@leemottershead⁩ where does this mid week Compiegne card tomorrow fit into your article? Over €500k worth of prize money but luckily in the UK we’ve got prize money for G3 and listed races on the flat shot to pieces against the Irish and French, problem solved, lucky us

⁦@leech_roisin⁩ rides her first winner at the wonderful ⁦@HexhamRaces⁩. Very well done to trainer Victor Thompson and the gutsy Paramaribo🏆🥇

Great to see ⁦@PaddyBrennan81⁩ go out with a winner. We had some great day together, the highlight being the pictured Garo De Juilley winning the Silver Trophy ⁦@Chepstow_Racing⁩. Always made us feel better about ourselves and he’ll be much missed. Best of luck Paddy
