A Pan-Eurasian government is the real threat and an absolute worst case scenario for the West. China isn't shocked by anything. It's divide and conquer. Isolating the UK and America from the rest of Europe has been in the Sino-Soviet playbook since before Perestroika. The creation of a Pan-Eurasian super-state has always been one of the main goals of both international communism and globalism more broadly. "Multipolarity" is not a non-globalist alternative to "American hegemony." It's "big spaces" ruled by "local stakeholders" of the "global majority" through a Soviet-style Central Committee that will wear the UN as a skinsuit. There's no way it wouldn't be a thousand times more globalist than just America having a better military and more widely used currency than everyone else. I don't know who needs to hear this but the Sino-Soviet split, the national distinctions between the central governments of historically communist countries, the break In continuity between the government of Soviet Russia and the government of Federal Russia... None of that shit is real. There is no reality where cozying up to Russia will alienate it from China. The Chinese and the Russians are trying to conquer all of Eurasia with a good cop bad cop strategy. Russia uses military force; China uses economic diplomacy. Any Pan-Eurasian super state would try to shut the US out of global trade to end its dominant position in Forex markets and collapse it under hyperinflation. "Dollar hegemony" might not last forever, but it would be far better for the entire West if Europe emerged as a strong and independent ally of America to stand with us as a bulwark against the "Permanent Revolution" of the "Global Majority" than for it to be absorbed into a genuinely hegemonic Pan-Eurasian blob state. Any strategy aimed at leveraging Russia against China will almost certainly be countered by China luring Europe into the biggest trap ever. Let's not fall for it.
