A historic evening at @CTVKitchener, 70 years after first going on the air. Honoured to be part of a special broadcast recognizing the station & its people as the trusted local news source telling the stories of the people of @CityKitchener & #SWOntario for the past 7 decades. CKCO-TV has also brought us great local Canadian 🇨🇦 TV programming over the years from Bowling for Dollars to Polka Time and Romper Room to Provincewide. Thanks to everyone who helped create great regular and special local television right here in #KWAwesome! – at Kitchener, Ontario

Credit to @CityKitchener Planning & Building staff!
The shortage (& consequent high cost) of homes is a key factor not only in homelessness, but in mental health & addiction as well.
Kitchener pledged not to be the bottleneck & the data shows we are not.

One of the (many) flaws in our two-tier municipal gov't.
We weren't consulted & now some school zones have different speeding rules than other school zones... in the same city.
And ticketing people for going >40kph at 11pm... on a Saturday? In July?

We have lost a great friend and supporter of Waterloo Region. Ian will be missed by all who knew him both prefessionally and personally. He was a planner who left a mark.
