Here’s the thing: the two closest races in the province right now are Juan de Fuca Malahat (NDP leads by 46 votes) and Surrey City Centre (NDP leads by 40 votes). If those flip back Conservative, the NDP can’t govern and becomes the opposition. It’s that close. #bcpoli

The NDP currently does not have enough seats to command 47 votes needed for a majority as well as fill the speaker’s chair. If they can make a deal with both Greens, they can govern with zero breathing room. Conservatives are looking at a 45 seat opposition right now… #bcpoli
