Nafplio, Where the Stairs Round Up. Greece's first capital, three fortresses, a bullet mark at a church door, and a famous staircase that counts itself very generously. #Nafplio #Greece

Weekend in Southeast Europe: Theth. The Accursed Mountains in late September — a waterfall, a blood-feud tower, a church straight off a postcard, and a paved road that actually exists. #Theth #Albania

Prime Minister Rama @ediramaal , insults do not answer questions. And perhaps you should read twice what we actually wrote before attacking us. We never claimed that your government was responsible for the suspension of these accounts. We welcome your categorical denial. We simply asked Meta for transparency and the European Commission to look into the case. Dozens of opposition and activist accounts being restricted or disabled at the same time is, in itself, a legitimate matter of concern. In a democracy, asking questions is not “agitation”. And European democrats will always defend political pluralism and freedom of expression — in Albania and everywhere else. @sandrogozi, EDP Secretary General P.S. On Ceuta, we were among the first and the few to say clearly that what was happening was not spontaneous and that organised forces were operating behind it. So perhaps, Prime Minister, before lecturing us about disinformation, you should check the record.
How can these agitators call themselves democrats while publishing such a shameless visual insinuation? I have lived with the blame and shame games of my opponents for as long as I have been in politics. But when this low form of propaganda comes from people parading as European democrats, it is truly pitiful. And what if this entire stunt comes from the same malicious sources that fuelled the so called “Flamingo Revolution”, many of which also fuelled the chaos in Ceuta? Why? Simple: to breathe life back into a “revolution” that has already gone flat. Doesn’t this make sense? Of course it does. But apparently not to these democrats in name only. So let me be absolutely clear: we have nothing whatsoever to do with any social media account being disabled or restricted, nor do we possess the technical capability to carry out an operation of this kind. Shame on this whole bunch of failures for spreading such nonsense🤡

EU's von der Leyen: This was an attack using military grade material, carried out by Russian operatives on EU soil. We will not tolerate it. We stand in full solidarity with Germany. And if the intention was to make us think twice about supporting Ukraine, I can tell you it has only strengthened my resolve.

Simulation inaccurately shows a lake already present before the debris arrives. Nepali officials say an ice-rock avalanche blocked the Lhende Khola on 26 Aug, forming a temporary debris dam and lake that then burst. No pre-existing lake at the site has been confirmed. kathmandupost.com/national/2026/…

🇦🇱🇪🇺 EU Commissioner @MartaKosEU has put it clearly: “Environment protection is part of EU membership criteria.” #Albania must align its protected-areas legislation with EU standards and address the Strategic Investments Law to close Chapter 27. Europe is listening to Albanian civil society. Albania’s path to membership must advance through strong environmental safeguards, the rule of law and a public interest protected equally for everyone #flamingorevolution #rama
