We are lucky to have national speakers like Dr Leite to not only help us grow as a district, but also recognize the great work of our Threat Assessment Team at LPS.

That’s a wrap on a storied career with LPS. Today was Joe Wright’s last day, but his legacy will continue through the work of the @LPSorg Security Department. Thank you for being a pioneer in school safety! We wish you the best as you enjoy your well earned retirement!
Security Coordinator, Kyle Poore, presented two sessions at the National @NCS4usm conference in California this week. This was the first Interscholastic presentation in the history of this great conference. Congratulations and well done, Kyle.
Our department is represented this week at the National @NCS4usm Conference to focus on better supporting our athletic and activities programs.
Congratulations on your retirement. We are lucky to get to work with you on a daily basis as our new Director of Security.
Happy retirement, Nate Hill! After 26 years, he's taking his talents to @LPSorg as Security Director.
He spent a majority of his career working with schools, including 11 years as an SRO and 8 as Threat Assessment Investigator.
Now he's writing the next chapter. Good luck! 🚔
Our own Kyle Poore serves as a co-chair for the National Center for Spectator Sport Safety and Security (NCS4) Interscholastic Advisory Committee. Kyle will be attending and presenting at the National Conference next week in California.
This week, LPS Security hosted @NCS4usm’s "Crowd Management" training! 🏟️ Our athletics & activities leaders teamed up with community partners @Lincoln_Police and @LTULNK to learn consistent safety best practices for managing crowds at events across our district. 🤝
We had the privilege of hosting Dr. Stephanie Leite as our keynote speaker for our annual SRO and Administrative Training. The training allows our @Lincoln_Police SROs to train with our secondary admin as they prepare for the upcoming year, while learning from a national expert.
