Happy Wednesday.
Artists…I have a question…and maybe you can help…
When your art is selected for an open call where it will be displayed on a screen at a live public event or in a public space, what are some things you maybe don’t like about how that’s done currently in web3 and how would you change it?
Maybe it’s on the communication side of things during the event, so you know what’s happening even though you can’t be there personally?
Or maybe there are some tech features or ideas you have to improve this for artists from a “display” perspective and how marketing the work can be improved?
You can be as vague or detailed as you want and if you’d rather DM me you can do that as well.
Direct insights on this from artists who have experienced this are invaluable at the moment, so anything you provide is greatly appreciated.
Much love. 🫶🏼

From proper model consents and age records to heavily encrypted databases to protect the privacy of artists, this event will be as professional and secure as they come.

In 2027 I bring this to life.
Country and city TBD.
A nude ART only IRL gallery exhibition powered by our art gallery event management software.
This one is very personal.
This genre deserves more.
These artists deserve more.
Their ART deserves more.
We will give it to them.

Question:
Should I bring out the cowboy hat and boots for Marfa? 🤠
This is a RARE look I keep in my back pocket for only very specific occasions.
Fun fact: During the spring/summer you wear straw cowboy hats and in the fall/winter you switch to felt material. Mine is black.

Helped a friend, who is an amazing artist out of San Antonio, with her first solo gallery show and also brokered my first-ever IRL art deal between her and a collector.
Every single piece she presented sold at this show.
Received this physical as a gift. 🖼️

It would be great to have the ability to:
Create "custom galleries" within the "Owned" section.
Create your own galleries (folders).
Manually distribute NFTs across different galleries.
Select cover images and rearrange the order of NFTs within each gallery.
Make these galleries publicly visible on the profile.
Retain the "All NFTs" view mode to display the complete collection.
This would transform user profiles into personalized, curated NFT exhibitions, giving collectors more freedom to organize, showcase, and style their collections.
Essentially, it would allow for the creation of a customizable art gallery within each collector's profile.
I am sure other collectors would appreciate this feature as well.

As someone who has been in this space for years, I want to say this to artists who are just starting out: don’t worry about being seen. You will be, and your time will come.
Don’t struggle so hard to make it happen. The NFT space is like the muddy water where a lotus grows.
Give yourself time to bloom.🙏🏼🪷
