It has been an honor to serve as the @PAHumanServices Secretary and witness all we have accomplished. I am excited to see @SecretarySnead oversee the agency as DHS continues to improve the lives of all Pennsylvanians.
I was able to receive my first COVID-19 dose today. Aside from a sore arm, I am feeling great.
All PA adults are eligible to receive the COVID vaccine.

Thank you for having me yesterday! Keeping our educators and child care providers safe is a crucial part of Pennsylvania's vaccination plan.
Replying to @CAPLancaster
This initiative is easing access to #COVID19 vaccines for dedicated early childhood education professionals & child care providers across the commonwealth and will help keep classes & child care facilities safe for staff, students and children in care, and their parents at home

Too many essential workers struggle to afford basic needs on a minimum wage that was set more than a DECADE ago.
The cost of living hasn't stopped rising, and families can't keep up on $7.25 /hour.

I hope this report opens a dialogue that will improve our work on behalf of the millions of Pennsylvanians we serve. DHS is committed to being an actively anti-racist organization where we can start to do our part to reverse centuries of inequity that many still experience today.
DHS yesterday released its first Racial Equity Report. The report details ongoing efforts to promote diversity, equity, & inclusion through this work in order to be a partner in correcting systemic racism & inequities.
