We are still on a necessary hiatus, but HAD to showcase some of the amazing work from recent issues. We will share our @SundressPub Best of the Net nominations tomorrow!
For a variety of reasons, Second Chance Lit will be going on an indefinite hiatus. We hope that we've been a source for good and given a space for so many amazing pieces that might have been otherwise forgotten! Our site will remain up. Love to all!

The first Issue 6 piece we highlight today is the nostalgic "Sweet Blood," by @chasmp.

for herself alone,

Our final Issue 6 spotlight today is the transporting, city-gazing "Delancy Street Exit" by @LauraSeldner.
all the times I've become a long-legged animal
teetering down the sidewalk in ankle-snapping heels
enamored with my existence howling at the sky
