Fun fact about the food science that moved McDonald fries in this direction - TLDR, as people started going through drive thrus, it became the case that the fries wouldn't maintain their freshness on the quick jaunt back home. Hence the introduction of some really dope food lab chemistry to maintain their freshness. Currently, food science is working towards trying to solve the "Doordash" problem of having french fries be fresh for an even longer period of time

Hey, so this Saturday you can come to the Grand Opening party for Tabletop Library in Berkeley all day and night. It'll be worth the drive over, you know, if you want. @BerkeleyTTL is a side quest I've been on with @andrewmason, @tabletopgrl & david c to make a whimsical place that gets us off our phones, playing with each other, and holds board gaming up for the awesomeness that it has become recently. It is high time to stop commenting on the controller being XBox. Controllers are simple technology. The ones designed for gaming consoles are both reliable and ergonomically designed. It is stupid to replace them with custom controllers and therefore never newsworthy. /end rant
