London and Paris have fallen 🤷♂️
The vast majority of people on X who live outside Europe obviously don't have much knowledge of the domestic social dynamics over here and unfortunately they too easily fall prey to the click bait doomer parade.
Reality is: yes, the UK and France are done for, and I told you that many times and years ago. But Germany is NOT in the same boat. And neither are countries like Austria or Italy.
Germany has a fail safe which those countries don't really have: tribal radicalism and fanaticism. Before shit really gets irrevocably bad, Germany will just turn hardcore authoritarian again to restore law, order and harmony. This turn could go into both directions but most likely into the fascist one.
People simply don't understand the German mindset, which is one of stoic obedience until breaking point. Once that point is reached the dark beast will awake and it will get quite ugly. Societies like France, UK or the US work differently.

Unlike eastern concepts of karma-driven reincarnation, Norse rebirth (endrborinn) was deeply tied to kinship, fate (Örlög), and ancestor honor. Reincarnation was usually viewed as occurring within the same family line.

"Civilization has no force of its own beyond what is given it from within. It is under constant assault and it takes most of the energies of civilized man to keep going at all."

Famous story that Darius I invited Heraclitus to Persia after reading his book.
Heraclitus supposedly declined because he wanted to avoid the luxury and courtly life of the Persian king.
His alleged response is essentially:
I prefer little, provided that little satisfies me.

An Orphic verse puts it bluntly:
"1 Zeus, 1 Hades, 1 Dionysos." A fuller version ends: "…...1 god in all…..." — Orphic fr. 239; Macrobius, Sat. 1.18.17–18
more Orphic Hymns;
Come, blessed Dionysos, Many-Named Master of All (H.45)
Dionysis, Mighty and many-shaped God. (H.50)
Replying to @gegenprxss
Nonnus even calls Dionysus (drakontokomos, “serpent-haired.”). He presents Dionysus as a shape-shifting god, comparing him to Proteus (diverse forms).
His first form in the catalogue is the serpent:
"if, as a serpent, he should glide along his winding trail…"
[Nonn. Dion. 1.11]
After his death, Domitian's memory was condemned to oblivion by the Senate, while senatorial and equestrian authors such as Tacitus, Pliny the Younger, and Suetonius propagated the view of Domitian as a cruel and paranoid tyrant. Modern revisionists have instead characterized Domitian as a ruthless but efficient autocrat whose cultural, economic, and political programs provided the foundation of the peaceful second century.
