Blessed Feast 12 Oct of Our Lady of The Pillar
Our Lady of the Pillar is recognised as the first Marian apparition in the history of Christianity and is the only one that happened while the Virgin Mary was still alive in 40AD.

If you’re not pure, you don’t have power.
If you don’t have purity in your life, you’re spiritually impotent.
But when you’re pure, you have power. And you’re a Terror of Demons!
Turn away from p*rn & lust & filth.
Turn to Saint Joseph.
Be a Terror to Demons!

Personally, I do not like to Cruz, I do not trust Ted Cruz. He’s a known pathological liar, but I digress. In this particular instance, he does straighten out and educate Senator Horono very quickly.

Prayer of Saint Charles Borromeo to One’s Guardian Angel
My good Guardian Angel, I do not know when and in what manner I will die. It is possible that I will be taken suddenly, or that before my last breath I will find myself deprived of my mental capacities. And there are so many things that I would want to say to God, on the threshold of Eternity… So today, with the full freedom of my will, I come to ask, my Guardian Angel that you speak for me in this dreadful moment. You will say, then, to the Lord:
That I want to die in the Holy Roman Catholic Church, in the bosom of which all the saints died after Jesus Christ, and outside of which there is no salvation;
That I ask for the grace to participate in the infinite merits of my Redeemer, and that I wish to die resting my lips on the Cross that was washed with His Blood;
That I hate and detest my sins that have offended Jesus, and that out of love for Him, I forgive my enemies, as I myself wish to be forgiven;
That I accept my death as God’s will, and that, with all confidence, I surrender myself to His loving and most Sacred Heart, hoping in all His mercy;
That in my inexpressible desire to go to Heaven, I am ready to suffer whatever His sovereign Justice may please to inflict upon me.
That I love Him before all things, above all things and for His own sake; that I wish and hope to love Him with the Elect, His Angels and the Blessed Mother during all eternity.
Do not refuse, oh my Holy Guardian Angel, to be my interpreter with God and to expose before Him that these are my sentiments and my will. Amen.

After the Olympic disaster
France has organized one of the most beautiful papal visits in history: Pope Leo XIV
The homage to Joan of Arc was magnificent
In the end, it wasn’t the French, but simply the wrong culture
The Catholic Church is spectacular!

In 1979, just weeks before he died, Archbishop Fulton Sheen gave his final interview to Marie Torre of WABC. The 5 most important things he said in the interview were....
1. Modern erotic culture is a failure of purpose, not merely a failure of rules.
2. Children require moral formation, not permissive abandonment disguised as freedom.
3. The human heart wants life, truth, and love in an absolute form; this desire points to God.
4. The Church cannot become credible by copying the world.
5. The family depends on sacrificial love, not mutual self-satisfaction.
When he gave this interview, no one knew it would be his last. Let us never forget his wisdom.

A twelve-year-old girl fell into a cistern twenty-five feet deep. She should have drowned. She came up wearing a rosary.
The child, Nousseira Habib, had gone to draw water for the sisters who taught nearby. She slipped and vanished into the dark well. Minutes passed. Men finally arrived with a rope. The crowd grew angry and helpless. One of the sisters, who had been praying, pushed through, threw her rosary down into the water, and went on with the Hail Marys.
When they lowered a bucket again, the rope moved. They pulled. The girl’s head appeared. Then she stood in the bucket, alive, calm, with the rosary around her neck. She said that while she was under the water the shining beads fell onto her hands and throat, the whole cistern filled with light, and she felt as if she were resting, not drowning.
A voice told her to take the rope. She did, and she came out unharmed.
She had been Greek Orthodox. After that day she and her family entered the Catholic Church. Others who saw it did the same.
It is a testimony kept by the sisters and those who stood at the well: a child at the point of death, a rosary cast into the dark, and a life given back. The prayer Our Lady taught the Church ends with the hour that well represented, “now and at the hour of our death.” That hour came early for a little girl in a cistern. Mary did not leave her in there.

Dang, I need to read more St. Augustine. This is gold.
St. Augustine: “Remove justice, and what are kingdoms but gangs of criminals on a large scale? What are criminal gangs but petty kingdoms? A gang is a group of men under command of a leader, bound by a compact of association, in which the plunder is divided according to an agreed convention… For it was a witty and a truthful rejoinder which was given by a captured pirate to Alexander the Great. The king asked the fellow, ‘What is your idea, in infesting the sea?’ And the pirate answered, with uninhibited insolence, ‘The same as yours, in infesting the earth! But because I do it with a tiny craft, I'm called a pirate: because you have a mighty navy, you're called an emperor.’” (City of God, Book IV, Chapter 4)

“The devil does not destroy a man with one blow, but he whispers, ‘Tomorrow.’ And so the heart is lulled to sleep, and the soul forgets eternity. But the wise man says, ‘Today is the day of salvation,’ and he rises to repent while there is still time.”

The souls in purgatory possess powerful intercessory strength. While we pray to relieve their suffering, they actively pray for our needs. Their petitions are incredibly effective because they are entirely aligned with God's will. In this holy exchange of charity, our forgotten brothers and sisters become our greatest helpers.🇻🇦
