The elusive Canadian house hippo is back! But is it real? 🦛
In recognition of Media Literacy Week (Oct. 26-30), your Toronto Zoo, the @TourCNTower and @MediaSmarts have teamed up to bring back a beloved Canadian icon with an important message and reminder to celebrate Media Literacy Week - a national event to promote digital media literacy which runs from October 26-30.

When I found out about Urui and Shouma 7 years ago, I was very happy—and even more so when I learned that Sajin was still alive, though living a different kind of life.
Although I will miss Sajin, I’m glad to hear about Urui and Shouma; they are just adorable.

This is genuinely one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Fox News thought they were interviewing a Trump supporter, and this man went on national television to explain that he showed up just to witness the MAGA cult in its natural habitat. I'm crying laughing.
For my fellow OC havers and writers: Here's a couple pages from Manga in Theory and Practice. Araki suggested establishing your character's history first to help flesh out their choices and interactions and thought this was a good list to consider when putting writing a character

We have collaborated with local artist and illustrator Cato Cormier to design a new Winnipeg Jets Pride logo!
The design draws on the diversity of the natural world, reflecting identities within the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and uses historically associated imagery and a vibrant colour palette to connect to the broader history and symbolism of Pride 🏳️🌈

ALT Winnipeg Jets Pride Night graphic with the message: Designed by Cato Cormier, the Winnipeg Jets Pride inspired logo draws on the diversity of the natural world to reflect identities within the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Plants, flowers and insects are among the symbols representing transformation, fluidity and renewal, while the use of asymmetry and naturally occurring variation reinforces the diversity that exists within nature. Historically associated imagery and a vibrant colour palette connect to the broader history and symbolism of Pride, together expressing inclusion, authenticity and joy.
