Great job Canucks fans!
Perfect response throughout the game and the tribute imo.
Respect for what you did on the ice here but you chose to leave and anyone that doesn't want to be here, should be well aware of how we all feel about that.

These types of questions always make me laugh, hockey is one of the only major sports where people sing the virtues of cities where they don’t care as much about the game
Look, obviously Hughes is the greatest dman in Canucks history and it's not close. He'll likely be a HHOFer and will (rightfully) have his jersey retired in Van.
That doesn't mean we can't be salty now and shouldn't boo him upon his return.
Show everyone that we're passionate
Anyone that thinks that it's a negative experience to have fans that care about you have to be the stupidest kinds of people.
If only we could all be so fortunate to do something that matters to your market/clientele so much.

Hey Canucks fans, what we just did as a fanbase was a ton of fun and you guys should do the same thing on Sunday when your traitor former captain returns

There's going to be a long-term domino affect here.
We don't see it now. But we will.
Ask your teacher friend what their students are excitedly talking about between soccer, NBA, NFL or NHL. I'm not hearing a lot of "NHL" answers. And now that nobody wants to pay a thousand dollars and consult a few sources to find the right service for their game, their kids aren't going to get to see it, let alone get "hooked".
Yes NHL, you made $11B from Sportsnet. But it delivered a devastating blow to Canada's long-term hockey outlook and future interest. Hockey is Canada's sport - but will we say that in 20 years?
I'm sure you're having trouble hearing this message with that rainfall of hundred-dollar bills falling all around you.

Hockey ice is white because it's painted. Rinks freeze a thin base layer, spray it with white paint, then seal the paint under more ice. The league has done this since the 1940s so fans could follow a black puck. Then someone pointed a projector at it.
It turns out hockey had accidentally built the best movie screen in sports. Matte white paint under a sheet of clear ice diffuses light almost perfectly, and the whole surface is dead flat.
It's also enormous. An NHL rink is 200 feet by 85, about 17,000 square feet. A standard IMAX screen is around 4,000.
A show like this takes roughly a dozen 20,000-lumen projectors hung in the rafters, aimed nearly straight down so the beams don't glare off the ice or bleed into the seats. Software warps and blends all of them into one picture that fits the rink's rounded corners pixel for pixel. The Devils put about $1 million into their rig a decade ago, and arenas across the league copied it.
San Jose was always going to push this furthest. The Sharks have run the most famous entrance in hockey since the 90s, a 17-foot shark head lowered from the rafters with fog pouring out of its mouth and eyes glowing red. For thirty years the players skated out of the tank. Now the whole rink is the tank, and the sharks circling under their skates are just light bouncing off paint that was only ever there to make a puck visible.
In an alternate universe, the Canucks are the most physical team in the league by a significant margin lol
Alright Fantasy Football people, how much time do I give Marvin Harrison Jr in my redraft league? Don't worry he's currently a deep bench player at this rate.
Woof what a quote. Quinn becoming more and more unlikeable by the day.

DeMar DeRozan explains how Gregg Popovich treated basketball as almost the least important part of coaching
“There used to be days… We’d come in there thinking we had practice… But Coach Pop would show us Something going on in a third-world country… With 13-year-old kids being trained… To be killers with AK-47s.”
“He would say, we get to come here… and shoot a basketball… Make millions of dollars… Take care of your kids.”
“He used to do a lot of things… To put stuff in perspective all the time. That’s genuinely who he was… At all times.”
“It was always basketball last. You as a man first. Family, everything else before basketball.”
“He would tell us, this basketball stuff ain’t nothing. F— wins and losses. F— championships. What’s really important is: How are you doing? How’s your family? How are your kids?”
