Imagine the reaction you'd have got if you told Johnny the last day he drove away from the Hill that one day he'd ride a horse trained on there to win the Cox Plate! 🤯 Huge congrats, @JohnnyA_24.

State Of Rest!! Endless veterinary hoops to jump through, travels 20,000km to get there, weeks of training by himself in quarantine in Werribee, wins the Cox Plate and survives the stewards!! What a horse, what a team, what a story! I love Australia! 🇮🇪
Unbelievable win for @JohnnyA_24 to win the Cox plate for @JosephOBrien2 on State of Rest.
It's well worth watching as the horse & jockey were not found wanting when the need was greatest.....Congrats 2 all & especially our local man Johnny Allen🐎🇮🇪
