AI won’t take your job. Someone who knows how to use AI better than you, will take your job.
We’re already starting to see what kind of new jobs AI is creating.
AI requires significant technical work and surrounding services to deploy into the economy. This means jobs for AI engineers that build applied AI products sold to (or within) enterprises, FDEs to deploy agents into companies, new services firms for deploying AI, and more.
And even the published stats of new jobs undercount all the existing jobs that are transitioning to new areas of AI work in an enterprise. Many prior data, research, and software jobs large enterprises are also being repositioned for working with AI.
Every bank, life sciences company, manufacturer, and even law firm is bringing on more technical talent -or repositioning existing roles- to help with agent deployment in their companies. It’s a lot easier to picture what AI can replace vs. what it creates until it starts happening. Now we’re seeing what this looks like.

As practicing litigators know, the real gold standard is having to stand up in court and defend what you wrote.
Opposing counsel isn’t going to grade your answer - they are going to try to take it apart. They’ll find the bad fact you glossed over, the case you stretched, and the concession you didn’t realize you made. That experience changes how you evaluate the next piece of work.
My preferences are well and good and a worthwhile data point, but the more useful signal comes from what happens when the work is actually used.
The gold standard for evaluating complex legal work is partner review.
Partners can cost over $3,000 an hour and associates $1,000, making expert review expensive at scale.
Evaluating a model on LAB through expert review alone would cost millions of dollars.
In practice, we combine rubric-based LLM scoring with sampled human preference.
But rubrics miss errors beyond predefined criteria, and human reviewers get fatigued and make mistakes at scale.
We built a generative reward model to bridge this gap by training agents to approximate partner review.
We give these agents the original outputs, web search, and other tools to check our systems’ work.
We find that their judgments correlate strongly with expert lawyer review.
This approach will help us scale human review across model training and production products, and will be central to training Tenet 1.5.
Looks like #Fable5 is coming back soon.
Claude Fable 5 will be available again globally tomorrow.
After a series of productive conversations with the US government, we're redeploying the model with a new set of classifiers to target and block more cybersecurity tasks. In the near term, some routine tasks like coding and debugging will fall back to Opus 4.8. We’ll continue to refine these classifiers over the coming weeks to reduce false positives and better distinguish genuine misuse from legitimate requests.
We’ve also begun drafting a consensus framework—with Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and other Glasswing partners—for assessing the severity of AI jailbreaks and how AI developers should respond to them. We invite other industry partners and model providers to join us in this effort.
Finally, we’re scaling up our collaboration with the US government on model testing and safeguards. This will include pre-release access to models and safeguards for evaluation, information sharing on jailbreaks and misuse, and dedicated resources for joint research.
Thank you to our users for your patience, and to our partners across the government, industry, and the research community who worked alongside us to make Fable 5 available again.

Here with a lots of fans looking for another route to get to the #YankeesRedSox game after #MajorLeagueProblems on the subway. Let’s see if I can find a #bus and follow the crowd.
#MajorLeagueProblems at @MTA as thousands of @Yankees & @RedSox fans forced off multiple subway lines on their way to the game.
The D line just made everyone get off in Harlem, three stops from #YankeeStadium.
“Take the bus,” said a worker clearing the train.
Made it to the 4 train with the help of a crosstown bus. On the way and may still make it on time to #RedSoxvsYankees game

There is a loss of power affecting the signaling system between 125 St and 145 St. From 125 St, you can use the East Village bound M101, LGA Airport bound M60-SBS, The Hub bound M125 buses to Lexington Av/125 St for uptown #4 trains or use M3 buses to 155 St for Bronx bound BX6.

🚨🇺🇸 ORACLE CEO: FROM CANCER DETECTION TO CUSTOM VACCINE WITHIN 48 HOURS WITH AI
Oracle CEO, Larry Ellison:
“One of the most exciting things we're working on, using the tools that Sam and Masa are providing, is a cancer vaccine.
Using AI you can do early cancer detection with a blood test and once we gene sequence that cancer tumor, you can then vaccinate the person, design a vaccine for every individual person to vaccinate them against that cancer.
You can make that mRNA vaccine robotically using AI in about 48 hours.
So imagine early cancer detection, the development of a cancer vaccine for your particular cancer aimed at you, and have that vaccine available in 48 hours.
This is the promise of AI and the promise of the future.”

🚨🇺🇸 SOFTBANK CEO: THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THE GOLDEN AGE OF AMERICA
SoftBank CEO, Masayoshi Son:
“ Mr. President, last month I came to celebrate your winning and promised that we will invest 100 billion.
You told me, 'Oh, Masa, go for 200!'
Now I came back with 500, because this is the beginning of the golden age of America.”

Come out of retirement for one day @HolfeldNews6?
#UCF Coaching Questions: We’re working to find out the financial details of Gus Malzhan’s reported resignation from UCF — and if a deal was cut to let Gus walk away without him or #FSU having to pay $6M to UCF.
Why? It all comes down to the #contract.
If Gus resigns to take a new job, he’s on the hook for a $6 million payment to UCF, according to an Oct. DBNJ article. If UCF fires him, UCF owes him 75% of $13.75 million, or perhaps a bit less, depending on the date of firing.
If Malzahn resigns for a new job, the paper added: “Malzahn has a duty mitigate buyout amount, in which the buyout is offset, dollar for dollar, based on new employment.”
We’ll ask UCF for a copy of any separation agreement explaining how all this was hammered out. Check back for updates.
#BreakingNews in #NYC: #NYPD all over Ninth Ave in #HellsKitchen. Witnesses say a #policechase started north of this spot, up by Empanada Mama. The car took off and then they heard a loud bang. Crowd said a woman was taken from the car. Crowded street where people dine outside.
🤯 wow
The Blindsight device from Neuralink will enable even those who have lost both eyes and their optic nerve to see.
Provided the visual cortex is intact, it will even enable those who have been blind from birth to see for the first time.
To set expectations correctly, the vision will be at first be low resolution, like Atari graphics, but eventually it has the potential be better than natural vision and enable you to see in infrared, ultraviolet or even radar wavelengths, like Geordi La Forge.
Much appreciated, @US_FDA!
Seems like #NYPD hired away TV news/promo producers. @NYPDnews turned around this proof of performance promo video hours after clearing @Columbia of #Protesters. Starts by showing viewer process/planning & ends w/promise to clear out new camps that pop up.
