It's actually INSANE how prescient this was.
They made this in 2011! This is basically what it's like to use computers now. It's barely exaggerated

imagine a socialist "mispeaking" like this? oh wait... i said something far less damaging than this in 2019 & its currently the only gop midterm strategy. but i'm sure dems who leaned into the concern trolling by the gop, won't make an equal fuss abt the president!

While the content of the argument is so comically histrionic that it's not worthy of a response (nobody but a teenage girl who massively overestimates her own intelligence would believe this) I think it's very interesting to analyse from a culturally epistemological perspective.
What far left liberalism and the woke era did in terms of its effects on our intellectual environment is create a culture where people feel the need to find and point out new ways in which they're oppressed. This activity brings them social recognition amongst their peers and praise for finding more doomer porn for their group to self victimise over. Everything is about maximising your feelings of victimhood and resentment against the out group. This is the exact same function "we wuz kangs" works off.
The culture that pedestalises victim cards. A superculture which intrinsically incentivises being a loser, weak, disempowered, upset, mentally ill, unhealthy and antisocial. These "discoveries" of "misogyny" in mundane subtleties of life is nothing more than we wuzzing and should be treated as such.

Christopher Nolan is a regular at the AMC CityWalk. Kristen Stewart and Jack Black are so ubiquitous in my neighborhood you don’t even bother telling a friend you saw them anymore. And those people are talented. I assure you no one gives a shit if this lady is in their theater

despite push back against ai generated art, reinforced learning bots on ladder, vibe coded team building and emulation software, etc, it feels like we are just delaying the inevitable. it feels so depressingly discouraging to see it so prevelant in the communities i care about.
Alright, I want to clear up some misunderstandings.
First of all, Orca is an original fork of dolphin. It DOES NOT use any code from the brawlback project WHATSOEVER, it is a totally different architecture for rollback.
Second, Orca is Open Source. I'm about to post the repo, I'm just finishing up documentation explaining exactly how it works right now so other people can have an easier time building on top of it. In hindsight we should have delayed the announcement video until all the code and documentation were publicly available, but it will be up shortly.
Third, I am the only person who worked on Orca (name pending), neither @LiquidHbox nor anyone else helped. I decided to work on Orca for Brawl about a week ago after spending the last month implementing rollback for 64 and melee on yougame using the same emulator rollback based technique and thought it should work just as well for brawl which it did.
The reason why I asked Hbox to credit the Brawlback team is because their work helped inform mine even though I used none of their code. I wanted them to share in the success. Developing new open source software is all about experimentation, and knowing what works well for others and what doesn't work so well is critical in deciding what the next experiment should be. Open source is all about collaboration and about giving credit when people make advancements even if those advancements specifically didn't lead to a breakthrough, they are all learnings for eventual success.
So once again thank you to @Fizzi36 @BrawlbackTeam Dolphin and anyone who's contributed towards the goal of Rollback Brawl. None of us could push the bar forward without the shared foundation of all the people who came before.

By the way, millions of people in California voted for him and he just told them they are collateral damage.
