supra:native EVM Development Update A recent SupraEVM code update gives a clearer name to one of the network's EVM-specific interfaces. The precompile at `0x0000000000000000000000000000000053555005`, previously referred to through `ISupraChainParams`, is now named **`ISupraEvmGasConfig`**. The change better reflects what the precompile actually provides to EVM contracts: `txGasLimitCap()` - the network's per-transaction EVM gas cap `minGasPrice()` - the minimum gas price/base fee in wei The supporting libraries, mocks and deployment scripts have also been renamed from the broader "ChainParams" terminology to **EvmGasConfig**. Importantly, this appears to be a **naming/clarity change rather than a change to the underlying functionality**. According to the commit: • The precompile address remains unchanged • Function selectors remain unchanged • Errors remain unchanged • Genesis contract bytecode remains unchanged, with the existing golden hashes still matching The documentation also describes the precompile address as **frozen**, allowing EVM contracts to reference it directly when reading the applicable gas configuration. For developers building on SupraEVM, this provides a clearly defined interface for accessing network-level EVM gas parameters during contract execution and RPC simulation.
