They dont feel pressured to reply directly, we dont understand why we feel what we are feeling and asking us what do we think we need puts stress on us to try and sort through too many feelings all at once
just wanted to say if your friend is not in a right place mentally and they tell you they arent feeling well dont say “Is there anything i can do to help?” it makes them feel as though they have to have an automatic answer saying “If you need anything im here for you” is better
