The @2ndChancesFarm embodies the spirit of #OpportunityZones, and the @WhiteHouse Opportunity and Revitalization Council, which is both economic development and community development.
Visited Second Chances Farm in Wilmington, DE which is located in an Opportunity Zone. They hire returning citizens from the Delaware Correctional system to learn and work in a vertical farm environment using hydroponics. Criminal Justice reform and Opp. Zones working as a team!
With Mayor Williams of Arlington, TX. The city of Arlington is doing a great job in utilizing the Opportunity Zone tool and initiative to revitalize its most vulnerable communities!

We had a great Opp. Zone tour and gathering with the team in Coatesville, PA. The local leadership, community and private sector working together for true revitalization!

President Trump continues to Keep his Promises by making HBCU’s a Priority Again!!!! Today he signed the FUTURE Act which permanently reauthorizes and funds $2.5 Billion over 10 years to HBCUs and MSIs.
So far, this President has:
✅moved the HBCU initiative into the White House
✅worked with Congress to increase funding for HBCUs by over $100 million
✅signed legislation to permanently fund HBCUs & other institutions that primarily serve first-generation & minority students
