the people trying to convince themselves thaty Starship can still get this done in 8 launches is the funniest thing ever even with Jareds straight up "yeah, no" to the question
EUS was so large its actively destroyed its own TLI capacity, becuase of its mass SLS couldn't loft it to supernear orbit so it had to finish the ascent burn itself eating prop lowering its TLI, Centaur V Stretchyboi still allows SLS to loft it to supernear orbit with a full propellant load giving it the same TLI capcity as EUS if not higher 💀
a cool side note of this is they said they are anticipating V3 to improve steadily in ability through its life
Based on the fact they still show all Art IV mission plans as Orion being pushed to LLO or being kept in higher elliptical orbits makes me think they do plan to use the remaining ICPS for Artemis IV and THEN introduce Extendo Centaur SLS for Artemis V+ as a single launch Orion to LLO rocket
V4 in 27' guys trust me!! just because elon offhandedly gave one of his historically hugely accurate timelines it means V4 is so definitely debuting in 27' right!?!?
no no, ignore SpaceX official graphs and that all 5 in build/use launch pads are being configured for V3 or that all Artemis IV developments sight V3 as the vehicle
forgot you can't be remotely critical of SpaceX now that they're public 🙄
not my fault that Elon used V4 performance numbers in reply to a post obviously about current starship and the first to do Artemis Missions (V3)
Ship 70 enters Mars' Atmosphere, performing a 180->180 degree turn to perform a highly agreesive skip to maximise low atmosphere flight, increasing drag.
brother.. no it will not lol, 8 ships physically can not move a total of 1400-1600 tons of propellant let alone addign a depot into it
