She is fundamentally wrong. Illegal aliens broke the law, an offense punishable by fine and jail time. We MUST have law and order, and some fairness for all the LEGAL immigrants. Every immigrant really must go through a thorough vetting process, and not be a welfare “addict”. (A metaphor, not drug addiction.) I think she is right that we need some more legal migrants do some types of work. Trump has mentioned Ag, Hospitality, and landscaping. I will vouch that some migrants (perhaps illegal) work hard and do excellent work. It seems reasonable to say they have a stronger work ethic than many Americans. BUT, if they are illegal those attributes are completely irrelevant. Again, we must have rule of law; all illegals must self-deport or be deported. Cotton’s comments (eg, migrants depress wages for Americans) are definitely relevant. This is especially so for illegal immigrants. We must take care of Americans first. But at some point we probably will need several millions of LEGAL, VETTED guest workers. But first, perhaps Arkansas may need a program to train Americans to be great Ag workers. Maybe they have one. Maybe it could be better, but I’d look there first. More generally, the Dems are lost — they have become dominated by the Woke, Progressive, DSA ideas and activists. Far left radicals with no common sense. Any moderates left must vote with the radicals. If you love America, do not vote Democrat this year at all!!! If the Dems feel rebuked enough, they might return to being a Center-left party. That is my hope. See Fetterman, Manchin, Sinema, RF Kennedy Jr, Tulsi Gabbard — and many many others who felt they had to leave the Dem party.
