There are very few events that truly change the entire world. September 11th, 2001 was one of those unthinkable/horrible/catastrophic events that needs to be recognized for what it was. My wife Tracie and I met Dolly Parton at a benefit in January, 2020. After taking a photo with her backstage, she pulled me aside to ask me about my health. Her heart for others sets her apart, and her passing leaves a hole in our world. Rest in peace Dolly.
