Happy Fall! A bit of education about us. We grow live things and harvest them once a year. That is essentially our paycheck for the year. We have NO control over the price we get except to decide when and where to sell our product(food)! We don’t get COL raises. Family, I’ve been sidelined all day because of my truck. My 2000 F-150 that I use to mow locally broke down this morning while at the storage unit , and I’ve been trying to get a mobile mechanic out to take a look at it. Most of the local mechanics have either been booked up or aren’t working today. One finally reached out and said he can come check it out, but he has a few jobs ahead of me, so I’ve been waiting for him to get here this evening and hopefully get me back up and running soon. On top of that, my riding mower is also in the shop being serviced. Hopefully everything will be back up and running by Sunday or Monday and I can get back to doing what I do!
