If you live in the North of England, you are one of the people being lied to. This is a scandal. Trust us. But unless we stand as one, and insist we will not allow these people to strangle our futures, nothing will change. We have to make @10DowningStreet hear our anger.

Nothing to see here. There have been no cuts. We are not gas lighting the North with our pithy 'levelling up' slogan whilst in actual fact continuing to starve it and the families who live there of critical investment. Stop. Lying. Just stop, @BorisJohnson - it is exhausting.
