Leading journal JAMA published an important paper (with caveat of open label/small numbers trial) on Friday. 5 severely ill patients treated with anti-SARS-CoV2 antibodies. Impressive results. Viral load became negative, 3 discharged and 2 are stable.

Made a little poster for my family to help them understand what #coronavirus does and why you need to #stayathome and #WashYourHands. Feel free to share with your friends and families too! 🦠 #COVID19
Some Unis/Institutes currently coordinating their own volunteer programmes. @ScientistOnCall aims to collate all opportunities for scientists even outside of Unis. Scaled-up testing will require a coordinated approach @HSELive @SimonHarrisTD @nvrlucdireland @CillianDeGascun
Organized and targeted #COVID19 testing is not just about filling a glass. It's an opportunity to flatten the curve quickly, to keep it down without a 2nd spike, and to protect healthcare staff

@ScientistOnCall have large mailing list of experienced scientists eager to assist with scaled-up testing. We are aware of 1 new testing lab in Kildare & @ACSLM1 also seeking accredited staff. Huge opportunity to leverage University resources. @JOEdotie @HSELive @SimonHarrisTD

This is it. Half a million PCR's/week. Germany is leading Europe in #Covid_19 control. Suppression is only Step 1. Ireland can get through in 4-6 weeks, with aggressive testing & tracing.
