Would love to know about the effect garlic has! Look at the awe and wonder on 3/4C 👀 #WatertonScience
Fantastic work, Tomlinson class! So important for children to experience science in the real world 🌍 #WatertonScience
In Science this week, Tomlinson class have been dissecting a flower and identifying the parts. The children loved this experiment and were so engaged! #NCPAScience

Absolutely revolting, Brownlee class! My favourite experiment to take part in because it really takes you through each stage of the digestive process. #WatertonScience
Today, Brownlee Class have been learning about the digestive system by experimentation and observing what each system does. Well done - enjoy your tea:) #ncpascience #brownleeclass
It was a privilege to experience the awe and wonder of these children as they watched the chrysalis wriggle about, only for a butterfly to emerge! Their faces say it all 🦋 #WatertonScience
Our caterpillars have finally turned into beautiful butterflies and today the time had come to release them! Just like our children in Nursery, some flew higher than others; but each one flew the best it could. 🐛🦋#NCPAEYFS #NCPAScience #NCPAOutdoorLearning 🐛🦋🐛🦋🐛🦋
Fantastic example of using scientific equipment to enhance substantive knowledge and disciplinary skill! Well done, Year 5! #WatertonScience
One activity is interesting and unusual…the other is eating pizza!! Great hands on science learning for Year 6 👏🏼
Huge congratulations on the completion of SATs too! #WatertonScience

Such a fantastic display of all the science learning Y1 have done! Great job, Hepworth class! #WatertonScience
In Hepworth class this half term, we have been super scientists; planting seeds, observing them over time, looking for common and wild plants and identifying deciduous and evergreen trees🪴 💐 🌳 🌲

What a great experiment 🦷 #WatertonScience
Congratulations to @churchfieldprim and Mrs Count, who we know worked extremely hard on this 👏🏼 #WatertonScience

Well done, Reception class! This looks like great fun. What are you going to do to make sure those beautiful sunflowers grow tall? 🌻 #WatertonScience
More hands on science @CherryTree_SCH 🩸 would love to know what this entailed! #WatertonScience

The ITT trainees are now having a go at granular planning…they’re considering the key learning points for a half term of science! #WatertonScience @WatertonTrust
Great start with the @WatertonTrust ITT science CPD this morning! The trainees have been thinking about scientific enquiry & the investigation process. #WatertonScience
Looking forward to seeing what you’re growing, Wensleydale class 🌷🌻🌸🪻 #WatertonScience

Amazing job to some of our youngest pupils! A fantastic design. @CroftonInfants could you ask the children what happened to the water when they stood in the bucket? We’d love to know their answers 🤔 #WatertonScience
Wow! Look at that 🤩 Had the privilege of being shown these radishes first hand. The children showed me the roots and told me that they were still growing 👏🏼 #WatertonScience
Sharman class were super excited to see the radishes they planted last week have sprouted over the weekend! As scientists, we are going to observe their growth over the half term to see how they change and develop into delicious radishes that we can try! 🌱 #NCPAScience
