Have you ever seen a radio wave before? 📶 You probably haven't - that's because you can't actually see them! That is, unless you have a silo filled with thousands of tiny light sensors that light up like a disco when it detects radio waves.
This day is for you, teachers ✏️💌
We've designed the Educator Open House this July 26 to provide you an informative AND memorable experience, complete with Informative Sessions, freebies, and access to the ongoing museum activities - all for free. Don't miss out! ✨

These are not rocks — they are coprolites or fossilized poop! Because dung decomposes quickly, coprolite is actually pretty rare. Coprolites of fish and reptiles are the most common, and can tell us a lot about a creature's diet and environment.
Time for some family trivia! If these aren't rocks, what do you think they could be? Comment your guesses below 🦖🪨
At the Science Mill, we are honored to serve not only as a space to develop a lifelong love for STEM, but also as a place to make unforgettable family memories 👨👩👧👦 What's your favorite memory of going to the Science Mill with your dad/father figure? 💖
Happy Father's Day!
How many American flags do you think there are on the moon? 🤔 We will share the right answer later this week! 🌑 (Our Create An Explosion exhibit might give you a hint 😉)
Happy National Flag Day!

When paleontologists discover ancient fossils, how do they know what the animals those bones belonged to looked like?
This is where PALEOARTISTS come in! Paleoartists work with paleontologists to create the most accurate representation of ancient creatures.
