So, I think I've either broken @PhETsims amazing Circuit Construction Kit or there is something else I don't understand about electrical currents. I'm worried by the different current flows in the parallel wires...
Don’t forget this Easter to teach your children about important ideas in physics, like the greenhouse effect. Sadly, this example was my egg. Poor Omble. @marksandspencer
Only just seen this CYMATICS video. I love it. Thanks, Lucy! youtube.com/watch?v=Q3oItpVa…

I'm loving this whole series, thank you so much for sharing Brian. I was thinking that the opposite ends of the slider would be something like this...

We made it, and it was brilliant, thank you Mandy. “Look at you with your fancy-pants names.” We were all correct in our suspicions about the crime egg thief, because the same thing happens in this house. X
This is fabulous video showing waves on guitar strings. youtube.com/watch?v=8YGQmV3N…
Just confirmed - 15-session physics for non-specialist training (TSST) going ahead on Zoom on Thursday evenings 6:45-8:15pm from October 8th. Free for those that qualify (see attached). Only 10 spaces, so be quick, and it includes a copy of the 270 page illustrated guide!
Prof Jane Greaves from @cardiffPHYSX is my new hero: maybe discovered life on Venus, talks eloquently about the importance of the scientific method, and didn’t she quote Galaxy Quest at one point? @BBCStargazing programme was fab. Is there life on Venus? Quite possibly.
Yesterday I managed to get a couple of shots of Comet NEOWISE (and one of Jupiter with four moons). In the photo with the poles you can see how to find it yourself - using the Plough (Big Dipper) as a guide.

Yes, thank you @Cambscuisine - it was amazing. We paired it with @EdenMill Pink Gin and bananagrams.
