It's been seven years since I joined Twitter. When i joined it was to interact with others in the field in which I work. I intentionally did not stray into politics etc, knowing I'm prone to enjoying a heated discussion. (1/3)

More recently, I've not been seeing many posts from people I follow, and rather a lot on US politics, and this platform really demonstrates itself not to be the place for a rational debate. So in the absence of the stuff I want to see, I'm now leaving X. (2/3)
