Our team @JumpButtonS returns to host the PHL Gaming Conference in 2024 in collaboration with @Google, @CMThomasPHL, and @localhostgg! We hope to continue attracting aspiring game developers and talented operators in our industry year after year. #gamingnews #philly #gamedev
Got invited to the first Gaming on TikTok event in NYC and the shift of gaming is truly here. I used to be resistant to TikTok but their algorithm is the best I've seen on any app. When this gets applied to gaming I think marketing your indie games on TikTok will be the way!
Joe Hisaishi: Music From Studio Ghibli was next level! Arguably one of the best orchestral concerts one can experience! #NYC #madisonsquaregarden
Zenitsu is about to be cold in the next Arc! Demon Slayer is doing some amazing work. Big love to Ufotable.
The Fire to Firaga: Remaking Final Fantasy VII was a great time! Lots of gems to absorb with a mix of sprinkled humor. But I'm glad other fans had also questioned the excessive use of mini games. That is currently my biggest resistance to loving Rebirth as I loved Remake.
Been such a wild 2024! Chess has been one of the ways I detach lately. Lots of things in the works, but taking breaks is necessary for the mental reset!
The amount of AI events taking place during Tech Week is staggering. However ambivalent you may be towards AI, ignoring it completely could potentially be to your own detriment. Stay sharp creatives, a shift is here.

Tunde & Shawn cemented a piece of history by setting a global chess record of a 60 hour non-stop chess marathon in NYC to empower the future generation of Africa. Amazing resilience! #ChessMarathonForChange #Tunde58hoursofChess #chessinslums #thegiftofchess
The endurance on these titans is incredible. Nigerian Chess Master Tunde is aiming to break the record of longest chess marathon in the heart of Times Square along with Chess Master Shawn Martinez. Beyond respectable!

Attending GDC was not in the cards for me this year, but this is #WhatAGameDevLooksLike
That's why he is the greatest of all time!
Nobuo Uematsu revealed that he never intended for FFX’s “To Zanarkand” to be the theme song for the game.
It was actually a song for a flute recital that was unused, but when Uematsu was falling behind deadline, he submitted this for FFX’s theme lol 😂
Here’s the full translation:
Uematsu: “To Zanarkand” was actually not meant to be the theme for FFX. There was a flute player from France who originally asked me to write a song for them to play during a recital. When I wrote the piece, I thought perhaps this sounded a bit too sad for a recital. So I set it aside for the time being.
Sometime after, when I was making the score for FFX, I was falling behind all the while the Producers were hounding me. So since that flute piece was unused, I just kinda meekly handed it to them. They listened to it and said “Yes! This is brilliant!”
Toriyama created a piece of work that unified many of us through relatable characters and a playful yet deeply emotionally driven narrative. Watching DBZ with my mom will forever be cemented to memory. Rest easy Toriyama, fortunate to have experienced your innovation to anime 🕊
First photoshoot of the year was a fun one! Still getting used the Sony A7C II, but it holds up well when paired with the 35mm 1.4 GM lens.
