I don’t understand why car insurance isn’t like a retirement fund or a savings account. Like if I never get into an accident I’m literally just giving you thousands for no reason??? I can’t take a little out for a paint job or my check engine light?? I have to wait to get hit???

to prevent making unideal coverage decisions so that they have the best possible outcome if/when they do have a claim. Insurance agent’s services are free and we literally can be a life saver. I get their frustration with the way things work, but any other alternative /
