This is an “Easter-Egg” that is in early alpha. It’s functioning, but still very much a work in progress and requires considerable tuning.
You can now find virtually any #3Dmodel on the web just by taking a picture. This just came out on @Thangs3D and is a great way to find models - whether for #CAD, #3Dprinting, #3Danimation etc.

Over at @BuzzRobotics, we train our robots to understand skull size and curvature using a computer vision system we built that (1) scans our customer via @scandyco and (2) computes the normal vectors along a curve between two points of our choosing.

The LiDAR on the iPad Pro is best for room/spatial scans. Smaller scale objects can be better scanned using the faceID scanner at the front. This can be done with ScandyPro @ScandyCo (apps.apple.com/nl/app/scandy…). Now ScandyPro can scan with both types of 3D sensors, LiDAR or FaceID.
