Today, American-Scandinavian Foundation mourns the passing of His Majesty King Harald V of Norway.
A steadfast supporter of the cultural ties between Norway and the U.S. and a longtime Patron of ASF, King Harald has been a valued presence in the life of the Foundation over the years, to which we owe our profound gratitude. ASF extends our deepest condolences to Her Majesty Queen Sonja, King Haakon VIII, the Royal Family, @NorwayUS, @NorwayNYC, and the people of Norway.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage of the first responders, families, and communities forever changed.
As an institution rooted in New York City, we recognize the power of art, memory, and gathering to help us reflect, heal, and carry stories forward. On this day of remembrance, we stand with our city, our neighbors, and all those whose lives were touched by the events of 9/11.
