In April, I bought TWO cars paid in full cash. A 2023 G-Wagon and a 2025 GLE 53 AMG. 😂 At the time, I thought I wanted both. But after buying them, I started thinking differently. As a first-time car owner, I had to consider maintenance, running costs and whether owning both cars actually made sense. So I made a decision. I sold the G-Wagon, kept the 2025 GLE 53 AMG, and shipped it to Nigeria around the end of August/early September. And the funny part? 😂 I used some of the money from the G-Wagon to buy my Rolex Platona watch. Here’s what I learned: Being able to afford something and being willing to maintain it are two different things. Some cars are worth owning for the experience, but that doesn’t automatically make them good investments. Sometimes, the smartest financial decision isn’t buying more. It’s knowing what to let go of. I could have kept both cars just to say I owned two luxury cars. But what would be the point if I wasn’t getting enough value out of owning both? Luxury is nice. Financial sense is nicer. 🥂

This Mentality is Everythiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing.

I’ve been thinking about whether to make this post, but I guess it’s time to speak up. I’ve made some financial decisions that didn’t work out well, and honestly, things haven’t been going the way I planned. I’ve lost a lot financially, mentally, and emotionally. I’ve lost money, lost people, and gone through so much trying to make things work. Despite everything, I’m still an ambitious person who wants to build something meaningful for myself. I’ve always believed in my dreams, and even though I’ve experienced setbacks, I still believe there’s more to my story. I might get laughed at or ridiculed for making this post, but honestly, I don’t care. Sometimes, life takes you through phases you never imagined, and I’m learning that it’s okay to be honest about mine. Right now, I’m trying to find my footing again, explore new opportunities, and figure out my next move. If you know of any opportunities, collaborations(legally/illegally😏) or anything that could help me get back on track, I’m open to them. A repost would also go a long way in helping this reach the right people. You never know who might see it or what opportunity might come from it. I may have lost a lot along the way, but I haven’t lost my ambition or my desire to make something out of my life. I’m taking things one step at a time and trusting that things can get better.
