Campaigners are celebrating as the license to work on Newquay's Whipsiderry's cliffs has been suspended until 2024.
@SaveWhipsy have raised 10k from the community as they've been trying to stop luxury developers building on the clifftops since the start of the year.

Positive news from @SaveWhipsy, The Marine Management Organisation (MMO) has today SUSPENDED the license for the cliff stabilisation works for a period of 5 months (until 31st January 2024) pending further investigation 🙌🏼

The MMO has suspended its license so they can commission an independent geotechnical report.
This is a DIRECT RESULT of the pressure from the #savewhipsiderry group & @rbuxtonlaw
