Up first, this Saturday, 10/12 at 11am join us for a Blessing of the Animals with Pastor David Black. All animals are welcome. Please meet at the Wallach (sleeping fawn) Fountain on the east side of the tunnel.
Then on Mondays in October starting on on 10/14, join Somatic Therapist Roger Hughes for a 45-minute guided ‘Moving Meditation’ at Promontory Point. Free and open to the public!

We are honored to receive this grant from the Driehaus Foundation! This grant will allow us to continue working on our alternatives design study - the ONLY plan to date that combines storm damage & shoreline protection with preservation of historic limestone & ADA accessibility.

Thanks to grants from both The National Trust for Historic Preservation's Johanna Favrot Fund & Landmarks Illinois, we are in the process of hiring an historic treatments consultant 🥳
Taylor Zimmerman’s drone survey of Promontory Point shoreline won the Civil + Structural Engineer Media’s 2024 Engineering Drone Video of the Year!
This drone survey was part of McLaren Engineering’s condition study of the limestone revetment - proving that the Point’s revetment can be fixed rather than replaced with concrete.
