Churches closing. Clergy cut. Parishes merged.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
The future of the Church of England lies where it always has: in the local parish, with a priest who knows their people.

The vicar is becoming an endangered species. 🚨
Today we launch a landmark report, following a consultation with national church officials, theologians, bishops, archdeacons, DDOs, and the unions.

💬 Save the Parish Chair, the Reverend @WalkerMarcus, said:
“If clergy are loving their job, they will be the greatest recruitment sergeant for new priests the Church has ever known. A joyful, hopeful clergy lifts parishes, people, and vocations like nothing else.
