⤵️Have you submitted your SBC Local Plan Regulation 19 submission yet for the #Swindon Oasis Leisure Centre site? Deadline 12th November. Details on our facebook page.
It is important the Local Plan is modified to protect the Oasis heritage and the facilities we need there.

I've never expected any warehouses to be built. Fully expect SevenCapital to put as many flats as they can on The Oasis site then declare that nobody is interested in the warehouses and apply for more flats there.

Get a cracking speedway track and parking on Claire's.
Full Leisure Centre, Entertainment Venue and hospitality on the main Oasis site accessible via planned north station entrance.
Many of @SwindonCouncil's problem children sorted in one place and a leisure hub to be proud of!
This photo shows just how much land 7C have. If they bin off the warehouses, all the houses can go on the former Clares site. (To the left). That way, the iconic view of the grade II listed dome against Swindon's skyline is preserved, and full sports facilities can be rebuilt.
🚨CLUES REVEALED ABOUT WHAT IS COMING NEXT FOR THE OASIS SITE - Documents discovered today hint what amended plans Seven Capital will submit next for the Oasis Leisure Centre site.

Today we have uncovered SBC and Seven Capital's next moves for the Oasis. This was hidden amongst the Local Plan draft documents. We will publish what we have learned this evening.
SBC are currently finalising their next Local Draft Local Plan. What does this mean for the Oasis? Future planning permissions for housing and facilities on the site can be dictated by this.
Head to our facebook page to submit your feedback by 12 Nov facebook.com/share/p/14xdHez…
We still get stopped in the street by people commenting how much they enjoyed the Oasis fireworks, which we organised earlier this year. This was to mark 50 years since the centre opened, and to make a point that we want it back. Thank you. It attracted a lot of publicity.

This is unbelievable. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom has offered his solution to rising petrol and gas prices by giving advice to use Google maps to find the cheapest petrol stations. Cutting fuel duty might be a bit more helpful to millions of cash strapped motorists.

Think this would be a great result if @SwindonCouncil can pull something off. Oasis should be a central entertainment hub with a new Hall added

This was paid for with taxpayers money and belongs to us. This is what we stand to lose and your "leaders" care only about their positions. Make yourselves heard. We won't allow a poorly run developer with a terrible reputation conspire with an equally poor council to destroy it.
