Hey, @Mixmaster226 here to directly address some misinformation being spread by @MtthwClmn. As you may know, I set up a GoFundMe to raise money to buy Hasbro stock so I can submit a shareholder proposal to revisit and give G4 MLP a better ending as one of the strategies for this fan campaign. I believe becoming a Hasbro stockholder to influence the company from within may be one of the best ways for Save MLP to succeed. Matthew apparently thinks this is a scam due to alleged “unclear funds management” or “lack of transparency” in regard to where the donated funds are going. He evidently used an AI to create this Google Doc he is sharing with people about this. This is categorically false. From the very start, I’ve made it clear that the donated funds go to a savings account I set up just for this, and I’ve repeatedly tweeted screenshots of my Fidelity investment portfolio to prove that the money is being used for its stated purpose. I have the lasted one here in this tweet. I’ve also explained that I deleted and replaced the original fundraiser I created, and that the money I’d raised until that was remains secured and invested in Hasbro stocks. I felt I had to start over because I realized that donating to your own fundraiser is a bad look, which I only did because I was planning to set aside what money I could and for the shares and thought putting it through the GoFundMe first would encourage more donations. No one has been robbed or scammed. On another note, I must reiterate that I have not harassed MLP cast and crew members as Matthew, his AI assistant and other detractors have claimed. Criticism and commentary is not harassment.
