ICE agents did NOT target a daycare center or a daycare employee. They were attempting to apprehend an illegal alien who fled during a traffic stop, exited the car at a random shopping center, and tried to barricade herself in a Chicago daycare center. She was never a teacher or worker at the daycare facility.
Fake stories like this are why our brave @ICEgov agents have increasingly faced attacks & threats. Shameful.

Grijalva: I do think that Speaker Johnson misplayed his hand. What he’s done, by obstructing my swearing-in, has really highlighted how corrupt this administration is.
In a way, he’s given me an opportunity to connect with people across the country that I might not have been able to reach for a couple of years. And now here we are. There are people all over this nation who were out there with signs that said, “Swear her in.” They wouldn’t have even known about me otherwise.
So thank you, Speaker Johnson, for making sure that what you did was highlight just how corrupt the system you’re protecting really is. And we’re going to fight through that. We really are.
