3,318 miles flown
1,922 miles driven
1,014 oz of water consumed
84.2 miles hiked
14 nights
10 fresh apples picked
7 hotel check-ins/check-outs
6 national parks visited
2 intrepid travelers
1 unforgettable experience
0 fuckin regrets
Yesterday my wife and I hiked the Narrows in Zion National Park.
An (up to) 9.4mi hike through the Virgin River.
We did 3mi, soaking it all in at a steady pace.
What a fun experience! Highly recommend if you get the chance.
“It could take 2 hours, it could take 2 days.”
That’s what the cop said to us when we asked how long the road would be closed for.
A wildfire in the area. The only highway around.
So we turned back and drove 30 miles of unplanned off-roading down a damn mountain.
Adventure 🤷🏻♂️
No one else has your life experience.
- share it
- leverage it
- embrace it
Your category of one won’t come from copying other’s strategies.
Drove 32 miles off-road for about 4hrs to catch this view.
My wife and I got the Temple of the Sun and Moon at Capitol Reef NP completely to ourselves as our reward.
Do things others aren’t willing to do.
Mixed berry pie from Gifford House at Capitol Reef National Park.
