Sleeping on the streets is NOT a lifestyle choice. We don’t have nearly enough affordable homes, rents are soaring and this is leaving people destitute and forced to sleep rough.
This is a consequence of poverty. And poverty in this country has been exacerbated by policy choices

I’ve seen the difference many times between a child hit by a car at 20mph vs a child hit by a car at 30mph. The difference is terrible. If they’re not dead, it changes their entire lives and the lives of all those around them. Sorry @RishiSunak but you’re wrong.

ALT This image is pink and has an image of a microscope in yellow. Text reads: Children get different cancers. The most common childhood cancers are leukaemia, brain tumours and lymphomas. For adults, it’s breast, prostate, lung and bowel cancers.

ALT This image is pink and has a yellow image of a graph showing an increase. Text reads: Children are more likely to survive. Since the 1960s, the survival rate for childhood cancer has more than doubled! This is of course great news, but it means that many children who’ve had cancer need support to live with long-term effects of their illness and treatment.
