Started my day in DC at @NCSSNetwork conference presenting on civic engagement and ended my day in Philadelphia with class about…civic engagement. What a great day!
Lucky enough to see @holafsen87 in action to kick off our final fall Weekend Workshop! Can’t wait to hear about amazing content on Native Americans and the Constitution from #NCCed and @RetroReport.

We'll be rooting for Jersey's own Jen Pawol as she makes @MLB history this weekend! ⚾️
Congratulations, Jen! Keep making Jersey proud.
Jen Pawol will become the first female umpire ever to work a regular season Major League game during this weekend’s Marlins-Braves series in Atlanta.
Pawol, a Minor League Umpire since 2016, is one of 17 current Triple-A call-up umpires eligible to substitute in Major League games. She will work the bases in both games of Saturday’s doubleheader.

This week @ConstitutionCtr & @pbsteachers hosted educators from around the country for an #NCCed institute focused on the principles of the American Revolution. Participants got a sneak peak of a new documentary series by @KenBurns, took trips to historic sites across Old City, and discussed how to bring their experiences back to the classroom.
Too busy to take tons of photos, but we are officially done our 2025 summer programs! Could not have done any of it without the support of an amazing team and fantastic facilitators. . Can’t wait to start planning 2026 (after vacation, of course)! #NCCed
Came back to my desk to some motivation for the last two (!!!) days of summer teacher institutes. #NCCed #SummerInstitutes2025

Another week, another institute. This time- it was a deep dive into the history of the US Constitution. We had amazing scholars, unbelievable teachers, and an all around great time. #NCCed
Our first summer teacher institute is in the books! What an amazing group of educators and facilitators to start our summer. And of course, always grateful for our #NCCed team for their leadership (and food-based artistic) skills.

Can’t let today pass without celebrating that I’ve been part of the #NCCed team for seven years! Leaving the classroom was difficult and scary, but I can’t imagine not getting the chance to work with such amazing students and teachers every day. Thanks for an amazing seven years!
Thank you to all teachers who share a week of their summers with us! It is, without a doubt, the highlight of my year! #NCCed #TeacherAppreciationWeek
