The UCP is abysmal. Richest province yet they selfishly want to keep the lowest paid workers well under poverty. They should be ashamed of themselves. Sadly they keep proving they have no integrity or morals so here we are.
Every single jurisdiction in Canada raised its minimum wage in 2026. Or rather, almost all of them. Alberta hasn’t bothered in eight years — and now has the country’s lowest rate.
