I’ve spent most of my career as a quiet, behind-the-scenes operator, so sharing this feels particularly vulnerable. But here we go...
Meet WIT.

I wrote this yesterday while flying to and from Georgia to visit my R&D team.
After working in software for so long, seeing a physical product come to life feels uniquely satisfying (and... delicious 😋).

I didn't see Jensen pull his phone out once in this video, and he runs a $5.5T company.
Focus + presence, or an elite agent stack? Spill the tea, Mr. Huang.
I've been traveling the world a bit. One of the most incredible experiences was getting to visit Taiwan w/ @JensenHuang. It was wild 🤯.. huge crowds of engineers, insanely good street food at night markets, and of course a lot of good conversations across many days. I caught some of it on video, see below. Alright, that's it from me, love you all ❤️

Thank you all for the love after my announcement a few weeks ago. I’m happy to report that a lot has happened since then, and some of it was even on my to-do list 😅
A little update on my involuntary personal growth journey since:

I had a coworker expose himself to me twice at work functions in front of other coworkers. I never reported it because I was afraid of retaliation. We were never romantically involved.
He later began openly bullying me, and other employees spoke up on my behalf. The company did nothing because he was friends with the founders.
Before I left, I was asked to sign multiple hush agreements in exchange for cash and equity. I didn't. Coworkers then asked me not to say anything because it could impact the company’s outcome.
He’s since gone on to lead revenue teams at several companies. I’ll never publicly name him because it always felt like I’d be the one dealing with the consequences.
This stuff often happens in plain sight. People know it and see it, but everyone has their own reason to stay quiet or to protect the perpetrator.
There’s also no right way to deal with it. Some choose to speak out. Some choose to find peace. Both are hard.
Thank you all for the kind words! To clarify, we're targeting a Nov ship-out date. Things take a little longer to get to prod in CPG 😅

WIT is the question I want consumers to ask when they drink this product.
So good, with unbelievable macros, they'll ask "wait, What's In This?"

3.5 months isn't long in CPG, but in that time, I've: abandoned the idea, tried to build something I couldn't consume, and taken the long way back to where I started.
I can't wait to get this into the world. Mostly bc I want it for myself, but hopefully you'll enjoy it, too.
WIT is the sentiment I want consumers to feel. So good, they have to ask themselves, "What's in This?"

A poem that has brought me so much comfort over the years.
Rest and be free, Wendell Berry 💙
A poem by Wendell Berry, who died yesterday at age 92. newyorkermag.visitlink.me/vV…
Last month: I got married, spent a week in silence, and torpedoed an agreement right as I was leaving for the monastery.
August was ... kaleidoscopic.
