Has anyone else noticed that there aren't any songbirds anymore? I mean none, zero, zip. I listen out for them on every walk but this year nothing.

Utterly ridiculous… Can someone please explain what is controversial about this?

Astonishing. So many replies to my comment on Clarkson, only one so far on the likely catastrophic collapse of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC). Anyone who thinks we can carry on burning oil and polluting as we are at the moment is deluded. #ClimateCrisis

There are hundreds of dog breeds. Just one, the XL Bully, is responsible for 75% of all human deaths from dog attacks. All other dog breeds combined are responsible for 25% The XL Bully is around 270 times more dangerous than any other dog breed. No one needs one as a pet.

I used to quite like Only Connect, but I think I’m at the stage now where I’m hate-watching it. The smugness. The utter smugness. And their theatrical dismay at the music questions still enrages me.

For those asking, this is about as effective a legal strategy as a bank robber donning a t-shirt reading “I AM NOT DISHONESTLY APPROPRIATING PROPERTY BELONGING TO ANOTHER WITH THE INTENTION OF PERMANENTLY DEPRIVING THE OTHER OF IT.”
