We toured the @SanduskyState yesterday and just wow! 🤩 Our 1928 vaudeville theatre is seeing many nods to its historic past, but it is being built with the versatility and vision for next 100 years.

New art is up in downtown Sandusky! 🍄🍄🍄
This piece, titled Shrooms, was created by artist Jen Robinson. There are numerous murals in downtown and we challenge you to take a walk this lovely weekend, find them all, and share your favorites with us.
Director Chris Parthemore and Board President @kimberlyredfern are attending the @ShoresIslandsOH Annual Meeting to support their important mission. Once reopened, the theater will contribute as a year-round driver of regional tourism.

We pulled back the curtain on our work at the @SanduskyState in downtown Sandusky, and invited students from @VSCTC to take a sneak peek. The rebuild & expansion has been progressing nicely, and we can't wait for its debut! Stay tuned for updates.
Congratulations to our friends at @playhousesquare on another great #BWYCLE lineup! 🎭
#1 in our hearts, #1 in America. Congratulations @cityofsandusky on once again being named America’s Best Coastal Small Town.

The GM says it’s too soon to set a grand reopening date just yet, but they’re working to reopen ASAP while getting it done right. When they do, he says it’ll be more like a week-long celebration w/ community.

Tonight at 6 on @WEWS - come w/ me & photographer Mike Harris as we visit beautiful Erie County, Ohio in the great @cityofsandusky for an update on the historic @SanduskyState. It’s been closed since severe weather badly damaged the structure in June of 2020.
