There are lots of newly awakened hedgehogs around right now, walking great distances, crossing roads, in search of food and a mate. Getting home 10 minutes later because you drove slowly won’t make that much difference to you, but it could make all the difference in the world to a hedgehog.

Thanks, I've just watched on YouTube, and you're absolutely correct. You'd think I'd be jaded by now, and no longer have the ability to be amazed at the tat that people call a 'hedgehog house'. Can they really find no other way to sell it? You really do need to question your morality if you have to write 'Hedgehog' on something, otherwise no one else would have a clue what market you were aiming for, and your intentions to sell something clearly unfit for purpose to good kind people, who will unknowingly go on to possibly harm innocent trusting wildlife. Just to be super clear - a hedgehog house needs to be made of great insulating but breathable material (wood), be weather and predator proof, have a floor to prevent rising damp, be well ventilated, be cool in summer but warm in winter, and have enough room to pack in lots of insulating bedding. Half a pot does not tick any of those boxes.
