Can't reply as Collymore has blocked me (I'll take that as as compliment 😂). I just don't think the comparison with the CWG and London DL is fair as they are very different. £10 tickets not selling early in the week. Sold out at the weekend. IMO this is a massive overreaction – at Portsmouth, England
Replying to @Samwinton99
Missed the point on CWG , and didn’t like my point on London so guess you don’t like a comparison Moving on - So that’s about 80% sales ? Let’s see how it pans out

It's been nearly 10 mins and there still is no sound on the @BBCSport athletics coverage, both on BBC one and iplayer😂 are the sound techs having a lie in? – at Portsmouth, England

I have been blocked by someone else in the thread so can't reply. The judge here appears to be talking about state of mind, not a legal analysis of whether the knife was allowed. It is a matter of record that the jury convicted him for carrying the knife in addition to murder... – at Portsmouth, England
The sentencing remarks seem to justify the second larger blade because it is part of the Nihang tradition.

They did not accept his justification that it was legal to carry as a Kirpan. Insofar as there was a belief that it was allowed, which I do not believe he honestly held, that would be a gross perversion of the long accepted tradition of Sikhs carrying the Kirpan... – at Portsmouth, England

In reality the law is not explicit about what qualifies. Simply saying that a 40 inch sword is a Kirpan would not make it so. The law depends on reasonableness. A jury of his peers, the sole fact finders in law, determined that this was not a Kirpan after extensive evidence

It really shouldn’t ever have needed saying, but seeing as how so many pundits & #saintsfc fans keep banging on about being harshly treated & think a heavy fine would have been sufficient…nice that the Independent Disciplinary Commission spelled it out nice & clear #Boro #UTFB

There is no shoulder. It's a footpath, just like the one in NJ. In any case my whole point has been that it looks safe so people will use it without any thought so that needs to be planned for. Also no idea why you're responding to my comments but blocking me from replying
That road doesn’t come with New Jersey drivers who see a 65MPH not as a speed limit, but rather a gentle challenge for them to go 95MPH+ on it and see the shoulder as an additional lane during heavy traffic.

Also, 'our drivers are so dangerous that they routinely drive 95mph on a public sidewalk’ is really not the flex that you seem to think it is

Having seen that the Portsmouth fans actions at yesterday's game has upset a lot of international fans of Hamza Choudhury, The PBA would like to issue this statement. #JusticeForHamza

If everyone, especially people outside Suffolk, who has spent the last week calling us wet wipes and lefty loons listened to this pod they may understand why we are upset. Fantastic journalism which holds the club to account without being performative or unreasonable #ITFC

I am absolutely willing to believe that senior people at the club had no knowledge of Reforms booking and that they took advantage of the situation. What I find much harder to accept is the lack of a corrective statement. Mistakes are inevitable but the response matters #ITFC

As we enter the final day of #INC5_2 negotiations, time to agree a #plasticstreaty is rapidly running out. We are in need of a miracle. Read my latest thoughts here: plasticspolicy.port.ac.uk/wi…

This didn't need to be inevitable but decisions made at the highest levels at #INC5_2 made it so. We have a #treaty process stalling, with no clear way forward and an urgent need to find new ways to make progress. Read my closing blog here: blogs.surrey.ac.uk/governing…

The Chair has taken control of the process and forced the contact groups to conclude their work early. We now await his Non-Paper 4.0 and look ahead to a weekend of frenzied consensus-building . My reflections: tinyurl.com/2k343t77

My final reflections from #INC5 are now online. While we didn't get an agreement in Busan the 'Coaltion of the Willing' stood up and rejected an unambitious treaty. The message is clear, production and chemicals are red lines that cannot be crossed tinyurl.com/mskrd6vr
